When "gorgeous" Rose Namajunas' hair sacrifice moved Joe Rogan to tears on raw podcast episode: "You see the reward, she's the champion of the world"
Joe Rogan was once brought to tears while talking about Rose Namajunas on his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience.'
In April 2021, Namajunas made history by regaining the UFC women's strawweight title by knocking out Zhang Weili with a head kick. Following her impressive performance, 'Thug Rose' did her post-fight interview with Rogan and shared a special moment by stating, "I am the best."
Several months later, Rogan talked about Namajunas on his podcast to provide an example of why he loves mixed martial arts. The longtime UFC commentator had this to say about what makes 'Thug Rose' special:
"She's one of the most feminine people ever. She's beautiful. She shaves her head so she doesn't have to think about her hair, but if you see her with long hair, she's a gorgeous woman. She looks like a model. It has nothing to do with men beating each other up. There's nothing to do with brutishness. It has to do with high-level problem-solving with dire physical consequences."
Rogan continued by saying:
"The reward, you see the reward, she's the champion of the world. That's how beautiful she is. She's f*cking stunning. She's gorgeous, she's gorgeous. She is the champion of the f*cking world."

Rose Namajunas looks to make a statement in the UFC Denver main event
On Saturday, July 13, Rose Namajunas returns to action in the UFC Denver main event. The 32-year-old former world champion plans to continue building momentum in the women's flyweight division following a unanimous decision win against Amanda Ribas on March 23.
The number six-ranked Namajunas was initially supposed to fight number four-ranked Maycee Barber. Unfortunately, Barber pulled out due to an ongoing illness, leading to number 11-ranked Tracy Cortez accepting the short-notice opportunity to potentially climb the rankings.
Cortez last fought in September 2023 when she extended her promotional record to 5-0 with a unanimous decision win against Jasmine Jasudavicius. It'll be intriguing to see if she can capitalize on her matchup against Namajunas and establish a strong presence in the UFC women's flyweight division.
