When Joe Rogan revealed the inspiration behind viral JRE podcast in heartfelt on-air moment
Joe Rogan has grown into a household name over the past decade largely through the unimaginable success of his podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience (JRE). The podcast was launched in 2009, and since has accumulated over 5 billion views and a total of 17.3 million subscribers.
He has recorded a staggering 2,199 episodes as of Sept. 8, and for episode #2108, the podcast host had comedian and actor Tom Green as his guest. During the episode, he expressed immense gratitude towards Green for playing a crucial role in the inspiration for starting the JRE.
Rogan shared a touching tribute to Green, whom had the UFC commentator on his own show, Tom Green's Internet Show, in 2007. He said:
"I can't thank you enough, because being on your show in 2007 really was a big part of the inspiration to do this. You had figured it out before anybody, you had a full internet talk show running from your house. When you had me as a guest on [your show] it changed the course of my life. I remember light bulbs just going off on my head like, 'Why don't I do this?' The idea came out of you... Yeah were drinking beer, I was like, 'This guy has got it nailed!'"

Joe Rogan speculates on Israel Adesanya being injured against Dricus du Plessis
Israel Adesanya returned from his lengthy hiatus from fighting to face Dricus du Plessis in a highly anticipated middleweight title clash. The pair went to war in the main event of UFC 305, with the South African securing a fourth-round submission victory.
Du Plessis became the first man to finish both Adesanya and Robert Whittaker, a remarkable feat. But the career rival of 'The Last Stylebender', Alex Pereira, went online after the bout and claimed that the former champion was injured.
During Joe Rogan's recent podcast episode with Belal Muhammad, the pair speculated on Pereira's observation, with the podcast host saying:
"They clashed shins a bunch of times. It could have happened in the fight, but the problem is, [Adesanya] was still tired. He's still tired. I'm sure he was injured. It's a crazy fight, you get injured."
