When Ryan Garcia's ex-wife urged fans to pray for "heavily oppressed" boxing star in light of unsettling social media posts

Ryan Garcia's ex-wife once appealed to fans, urging them to pray for the former interim WBC lightweight champion's well-being after he shared a series of disconcerting posts on social media.

Following the announcement and throughout the buildup to his fight against Devin Haney earlier this year, 'KinRy' exhibited markedly volatile behavior on his social media accounts, sharing cryptic posts for several months. Garcia's peculiar online activity garnered widespread attention, especially when he began promoting conspiracy theories and claiming personal involvement in some of them.

However, in March, the 25-year-old boxing star's antics reached a breaking point by sharing an alarming video accompanied by a cryptic message on Instagram, sparking a social media frenzy and a hoax claiming he had been killed. This incident amplified concerns about his well-being and drew significant public attention.

Subsequently, Garcia's ex-wife, Andrea Celina, took to Instagram to reveal that she had been in contact with him and he was alright, but she voiced grave apprehensions about the polarizing boxer's mental state. She insisted that 'KingRy' was under significant distress and far from fine:

"We are not together and I’ve been in contact with him and he may seen fine but he is not. I know in my heart he is being heavily oppressed. This is not a troll, I’m genuinely concerned and so is all his family members. We are not part of any of this and want him to get better but this IS REAL. Pray for him."

Shortly after welcoming their second child in January, Garcia announced his divorce from Celina, surprising many and marking the end of their relationship soon after the joyous occasion.

Garcia later clarified in multiple social media posts that he was not suffering from any mental problem. He explained that most of his online antics and provocative statements were merely a ploy to create a fake narrative and deceive Haney.

Andrea Celina, on Tuesday night, accused Ryan Garcia of harassing her and wreaking havoc on her home during an alcohol-fueled outburst. She shared a series of alarming social media posts, showcasing the extensive damage to her home's interior.

Celina accused 'KingRy' of breaking into her home after she refused him visitation rights with their child, citing concerns over his substance abuse.
