UFC News: Dana White gives huge update on Conor McGregor's return

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Conor McGregor could make his UFC return at UFC 219 later this year.
Speaking of which, White also confirmed that McGregor’s next fight will be in Las Vegas, and could very well come at UFC 219 which will take place in Sin City.

Conor McGregor is widely regarded as one of the most charismatic personalities in sports-entertainment history and is a proven box-office draw in the realm of combat sports.
Additionally, apart from holding records for highest-grossing showdowns in the sport of MMA, McGregor is fresh off the ‘Money Fight’ with boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr.— a matchup which holds the record for being the richest event in the history of the fight game.
The heart of the matter
Apparently, UFC President Dana White spoke at a Q&A held at the world-renowned Wild Card boxing gym, where he answered several questions pertaining to upcoming UFC events.
On that note, White revealed that the promotion will, in fact, announce the headliner for UFC 219 which will be the last pay-per-view for the organization in the 2017 calendar year.
Furthermore, he emphasized that ‘The Notorious’ Conor McGregor’s next fight 'will be in Vegas'. Besides, White also noted that CMac’s return 'could be' at UFC 219.
What’s next?
Conor McGregor is likely to make his Octagon comeback at UFC 219 which goes down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 30th.
The Notorious Irishman will defend his UFC Lightweight Championship either in a trilogy fight against Nate Diaz or in a title-unification bout against Interim-155 pound Champ Tony Ferguson.

Mystic Mac is now a household name, and the MMA community eagerly awaits his return. With several options on the table, including a super-fight with new UFC Middleweight Champion Georges St-Pierre, with GSP possibly coming down to Welterweight or at a Catch-weight, Conor would most definitely be primed for a comeback sooner rather than later.
