All new mounts coming with WoW 11.1 (known so far)

WoW’s upcoming 11.1 update will naturally feature amazing mounts to unlock. This is a rich tradition with major patches — from raid mounts to achievement unlocks, and PVP/Mythics, there’s going to be plenty of ways to add to your collection. However, today’s list comes as a result of some datamining from WoWhead, based on the patch 11.1 PTR build. That means the source or design of these mounts could change in the future.

In addition, some of these may not appear at all in this patch. While we don’t know when patch 11.1 will hit WoW in 2025, we do know that several fantastic mounts will be showing up as a result of it. Here’s what you need to know.

All mounts revealed so far for the WoW 11.1 update

WoW The War Within patch 11.1 is going to be a huge one — the beginning of the expansion’s second season of content. A whole new raid, a new Mythic rotation, and so much more await players. That means new rewards — and what’s not to love about new mounts? There are some truly amazing ones coming, like one that’s just a floating Gallywix Head (The Big G).

Several of these will also show up as a result of grinding through reputation and spending Resonance Crystals, which you get as a reward from many in-game events. It’s not unusual to see WoW pets or mounts show up requiring Resonance Crystals.

Undermine mounts:

  • Violet Armored Growler: Sold for 8,125 Resonance Crystals (Smaks Topskimmer)
  • Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire’s Flying Machine: Drops from Gallagio Garbage
  • Blackwater Shredder Deluxe Mk 2: Sold for 11,375 Resonance Crystals (Boatswain Hardee)
  • Mean Green Flying Machine: Sold for 11,375 Resonance Crystals (Lab Assistant Laszly)
  • The Topskimmer Special: Sold for 11,375 Resonance Crystals (Smaks Topskimmer)

There are some mounts on this WoW 11.1 list that I do wonder about, and that’s the Future Trading Post Mounts. It’s rare to see so many color palette swaps of the same mount type like that.

I feel perhaps some of those might wind up as rewards from other things — such as reworks of holidays. The Darkmoon Chargers are fantastic mounts, so the hope is high that they will come up this way, and for a reasonable price.

Whether you want to grind through Delves, PVP, Mythics, or Raids, there are going to be some amazing mounts coming in the WoW 11.1 patch cycle. As this list updates, we’ll add to it accordingly.
