Atlyss: How to defeat Lord Zuulneruda
Lord Zuulneruda in Atlyss can be found in the Sanctum Catacombs, which unlock once you reach Level 6. You will encounter the boss in the second stage of the dungeon. The dungeon layout resets each time you enter, making it impossible to pinpoint the boss’s exact location.
However, after completing all trials within the stage, you can find a small room containing a purple portal. Entering this portal will transport you to Lord Zuulneruda’s arena, where the boss starts in a petrified state before animating as you approach.
You can accept a quest to defeat Lord Zuulneruda from Enok. This guide shares everything you need to know about defeating the Lord Zuulneruda in Atlyss.

Lord Zuulneruda’s moveset
Lord Zuulneruda primarily uses ranged attacks, making close combat the safer approach. Here's a breakdown of its abilities and strategies to counter them:
- Purple Cage: This projectile glows purple and stops mid-air, dealing damage if touched. Parry the initial strike and hold the block button to shield against the follow-up. Alternatively, sidestep if you're maintaining distance.
- Three Purple Orbs: Three tracking orbs are launched and linger after impact. Dash after the attack launches to evade or block with sufficient stamina to mitigate the persistent damage.
- Purple Energy Wave: A powerful, straight-line attack with a noticeable charge-up animation. Dash or sidestep as it is telegraphed, but avoid blocking as it can break your guard.
- Twin Punches: A melee combo triggered at close range. Easily parried, even if you are struck by the first punch.
