Brighter Shores Hopeport map and location guide
Hopeport is the very first area of Brighter Shores that you start your journey in. This port town is where the entirety of Episode 1 takes place, but it's more than just a story act. You'll return here many times throughout your journey—to concoct potions, if for nothing else. Ultimately, you'll have to explore and discover Hopeport's entire map at some point.
Despite the simplistic room-by-room grid-based style, it's possible to miss entrances hidden around nooks and crannies. In case you cannot find a specific spot, check out this Hopeport town map and location guide for Brighter Shores.
Brighter Shores: Full Hopeport map
Below is the entire map of Hopeport. It is aligned in the traditional way, i.e. top is North. In the game, if the map is slanted, place the top-right Rotate icon in the map menu to get this alignment.

All vendors in Hopeport
Here are some locations of various important vendors and services you'll need to use in Hopeport:
- Quartermaster's Shop: Adjacent to the Training Ground (starting area). You can sell spare equipment here for coins.
- The Apothecary Shop: Adjacent to Stone Street, south of the Training Grounds. You can concoct potions for the Alchemy Profession here. The vendor also sells and buys spare potions.
- Cooking Ingredients Vendor: Kevin's Ingredients, Located on Stone Street, next to Delectable Dab Restaurant. Sells various culinary items needed for the Chef Profession.
- Delectable Dab Restaurant (Kitchen): This is the main workshop for cooking and leveling the Chef Profession. You can also sell the dishes to the Head Chef. This is also the hub for the Chef's Bounty board system.
- Potion Reagent Vendor: Found at the southeast corner of the Town Square. Sells and buys potion reagents. This lets you bypass foraging, but it's economically draining.
- Melv's Fishing Supplies: Adjacent to the Town Square. Sells fishing tools and bait.
- Fishmonger: The Frequently Fresh Fish Stall can be found on Eel Street. Buys all sorts of fish, and sells cooking-related fish that you have unlocked.
- The Hairdresser: Adjacent to Old Street West. You can change your hairstyle and hair color for 1 Silver.
- Capes Vendor: The Cloakroom, accessible from Pipe Ally next to Old Street East. Sells different capes for various professions once you've progressed far enough.
- The Forager's Warehouse: Next to Old Street East. Sells foraging equipment such as the Secateurs, and all manners of containers.
- Enchantress' Shop: Adjactent to Old Street East. Enchants different tools to grant additional XP towards that Profession.
- Scrap Vendor: Found at the Scrapyard, off the Sea Road. Buys all tiers of Metal Scraps.
- Rock Vendor: Found at the end of Sea Road. Buys and sells Monument Stones.
Much of Brighter Shores' gameplay relies on frequenting between these vendors and workstations. While exploration is also a big part of enjoying the game, finding an off-kilter subregion can often prove tiresome. This is exactly where this full Hopeport map can help you in Brighter Shores.
Note that this map doesn't contain two places: one is a secret place behind a hidden rock entrance near Overgrown Pond, and the other is a house locked behind doors from Wilhope Passage and Monob Row.
