Towers of Aghasba enters Early Access today, November 19, 2024, but will you be able to play solo or offline? Games like this typically do fairly well as far as solo gameplay goes, but it’s far more enjoyable to work together as a group on your little fantasy island. While solo play is possible, those who are looking to tackle this upcoming survival/crafting game may have to wait a little longer.
If you want to play Towers of Aghasba solo, that’s certainly possible, but offline is currently planned for a little bit later in the game’s early access lifetime. This was revealed recently on the game’s developer roadmap.
Can Towers of Aghasba be played solo or offline?
According to the developers of Towers of Aghasba, offline play will be available during Q1 2025. Players will already have access to solo gameplay, since the game allows you to invite friends to your island to play with you. That means solo gameplay is already on the table. Unfortunately, if you want to tackle this game offline, you’re simply going to have to wait a little while.
Towers of Aghasba is likely going to be in the Early Access phase of development through the entirety of 2025, so while they have slated offline gameplay to be available in Q1 2025, it could show up later. It all depends on what happens on their end between now and then. However, if fans are lucky, it won’t be that long—Q1 2025 is January through March 2025. So, if things go exceptionally well, it could happen in just a couple of short months.
As with all things in the world of game development, this is subject to change. The game does appear to be feature-packed in Early Access, from six regions/biomes to explore, a trio of settlement types, and much more. The game launches with single player and co-op options, where players can invite up to three friends to build with them.

A wealth of content updates are planned throughout the coming year to freshen up the title and offer plenty of quality of life/gameplay improvements. This survival and crafting experience will be available on PlayStation 5, Windows and Linux machines today.
