Destiny 2 Canis Lupus Iron Banner emblem: How to get and best farm
The newest edition of Destiny 2 Iron Banner has been a long time coming, as players are getting the first week in Act II. Regardless, everyone is happy farming for exclusive weapons, alongside filling in any void of Pinnacles in their gear slots. On the other hand, some emblems fall in line with a player's profile too, as the Iron Banner emblems are considered quite prestigious due to their accessibility.
The new "Canis Lupus" emblem has been added to the pool in Revenant Act II, where everyone must complete challenges and matches to level Saladin's reputation up. Much like any Iron Banner emblem in the past, the Canis Lupus will be going away once the activity ends after a couple of weeks.
This article lists everything related to this new emblem, the best ways to obtain it, and a few farming methods to make things easier.
How to get the Canis Lupus emblem in Destiny 2
Canis Lupus is an exclusive emblem from the Iron Banner activity. Players must reach Rank 16 for the first time on Saladin to get the emblem as a drop. This can be done in many ways, including playing normal Iron Banner matches or using the 'boosted cheese' method.
Fastest way to level up Saladin's reputation in Destiny 2
The fastest way to Saladin's level 16 reputation would be via the "boosted cheese" farm, which includes five Iron Banner gear pieces equipped, alongside one emblem, and four challenge completions. This particular method is done to boost the earned reputation EXP upon completing each match, regardless of win or loss.
To view the amount of boosted EXP you have currently, head inside the Crucible section, followed by the Iron Banner node, and hover your cursor over the "Iron Banner Rank Boost" icon under 'Modifiers.' The maximum boost multiplier can go up to 11x, which is the ideal number for farming the cheese method.
Here is the cheese method that should be followed in order:
- Equip five of any Iron Banner gear piece. Ideally, it should be four Legendary armor pieces and one Heavy weapon. This gives a player the option to use powerful Kinetic and Energy weapons.
- Equip any one of the Iron Banner emblems from the past. One emblem can be obtained from the Flair section within the Collections
- Complete four Iron Banner challenges present each day.
- Once the multiplier is on 11x, look for a fireteam that is trying to run for mercy win or mercy lose. Both have a minimal difference between EXP gain, so keeping each match short with the mercy mechanic is what counts here.
