Diablo 4: Instead of nerfs, Spiritborn is getting a buff — and so are all other classes

Diablo 4’s Season 6 Campfire Chat was held yesterday (November 12, 2024), and it had some very fascinating stuff. From a promise of more information next week regarding the Season 7 PTR to the knowledge that certain shrines — including Conduit — will be improved, there’s a lot to be excited about in the coming update. One major thing that fans wanted to know about, was the nature of the Spiritborn.

Was it going to get nerfed? After all, it’s the most played class - 62% of all players have at least tried it out. However, the most recent Campfire Chat in Diablo 4 revealed that the case is quite the opposite. Not only is Spiritborn not being nerfed, but it’s also being buffed!

Don’t worry, the most powerful build in the game isn’t getting better. Instead, it’s focused on less-used tools in the Spiritborn’s kit.

What can we roughly expect for each class? We’re here to get you on track.

All of Diablo 4’s classes are getting some manner of buff, including Spiritborn

During the Diablo 4 Campfire Chat, we received some details about all the classes that are getting changed — some of it was a genuine surprise. There was a lot of chatter on whether or not Spiritborn would be nerfed, but the developers decided to hold off until Season 7. That’s when the class will be balanced more firmly.
