How to get Tributes in Diablo 4

Tributes in Diablo 4 are used to unlock Legendary Aspects and enhance loot rewards in the Kurast Undercity. Using them you can target farm-specific items such as crafting materials, Legendary gear, and Runes. Tributes are quite rare and even when you reach the endgame they don’t become abundant. The Kurast Undercity and Tributes are new features that have been introduced in the new Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Tributes can be earned through various activities in Sanctuary. The Tribute of the Titan can be obtained by defeating Tormented Bosses, while the Tribute of Refinement comes from Nightmare Dungeons and defeating Infernal Hordes. For the Tribute of Harmony, you must grind the map, as it drops randomly, often in Rune-heavy zones.

Completing Whispers rewards Whisper Caches, which contain the Tribute of Radiance, and defeating World Bosses grants the Tribute of Ascendance. Other sources of Tributes include public events, boss fights, and running the Kurast Undercity itself.

To farm Tributes efficiently, focus on specific activities. Defeating Tormented Bosses is a double win, providing the Tribute of the Titan along with Tormented Boss materials. Running Nightmare Dungeons offers not only the Tribute of Refinement but also Masterworking materials and other high-value loot.

Tributes play a crucial role in optimizing runs in the Kurast Undercity. Placing a Tribute enhances loot quality, with higher rarity Tributes offering better rewards. These items are stored in the Key tab of your inventory. Additionally, Bargains can further modify loot drops. When a Tribute is placed, the Bargain glyph activates, allowing you to adjust affixes or stats by spending resources or Gold.
