How to get Violet Fabric in Enshrouded
Violet Fabric is a crafting reagent used in making some of the best gear in the game. However, it’s going to take some time and effort before you can acquire stacks of it. This makes sense, as it’s used to craft powerful gear. However, like other online games, you cannot simply head out and farm this resource. Instead, this system is similar to World of Warcraft, where special types of fabrics have to be crafted out of other reagents.
However, unlike WoW, Enshrouded requires you to do a bunch of quests and unlock specific NPCs for Violet Fabric. You’ll need access to several of the Survivors since they help you unlock advanced crafting.
How to unlock Violet Fabric in Enshrouded
To get Violet Fabric in Enshrouded, you need to have access to at least the Hunter and Alchemist Survivors. You’ll also need the Farmer Survivor to complete a few quests. Moreover, you can also make the Violet Fabric with the Hunter, but this requires you to complete a few of the side quests for the Alchemist.
As far as the Alchemist goes, it appears that once you’ve completed the Alchemic Wisdom quest, you should have Violet Fabric as an unlockable crafting material. You will also need to complete a few quests for the Farmer, as this will unlock further quests with the Alchemist.
You need to make at least one Mauveine at the Alchemist to have Violet Fabric show up as a crafting possibility in Enshrouded. You’ll also need one more pretty obvious step for the Hunter - crafting the Loom, so you can make cloth/fabric in the first place.
You will need the following ingredients to make Mauveine, but note that some of these may be difficult to farm like Sulfur:
- Tar x5
- Alchemical Base x1
- Nitrate x1
- Sulfur x1
If you don't have Fabric, that's easily made by using Linen x2. This, in turn, comes from Flax x2, which you can easily farm in Revelwood. You can also get it from a variety of farms, or simply grow it yourself, with Flax seeds.
When you have 1x Mauveine and 1x Fabric, you can head to the Hunter to make Violet Fabric. It’s incredibly useful if you want to make high-tier gear that will help you survive the frozen wastes of this survival game.
