How to get water in Enshrouded

Water in Enshrouded is one of the most simple yet essential items you need to find in the game. Being the last stand against an approaching evil alone is hard in itself. Drawing Water from Wells

The easiest and most accessible way to obtain Water in Enshrouded is by drawing it from wells located in ruined towns throughout the Embervale region. The most reliable source in the early game is the well in Longkeep, which is conveniently located near the starting area.

This well provides 5 units of Water per scoop but has a cooldown period before you can use it again. If you want to bypass the cooldown, you can reset the world by exiting to the main menu and reloading your save, which will instantly refill the well.

How to build a well in Enshrouded

For more consistent access to Water, especially when setting up a base, consider crafting your own well. The plan for a well becomes available after you rescue the Mason and acquire the Masonry Tools. Building a standard Water Well requires 20 Linen, 100 Stone, and 1 Wooden Bucket.

If you want a more efficient setup, you can craft an Improved Water Well, which has a shorter cooldown and stores more Water. The recipe for the improved version demands 30 Linen, 100 Sandstone, 1 Wooden Bucket, and 1 Iron Bar.
