How to unlock the Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV

The Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV is perhaps one of the largest in-game. Taking inspiration from one of the most iconic dinosaurs to have walked the Earth — Brachiosaurus — this lumbering giant makes for a fantastic companion. While it's impossible to time travel to the late Jurassic Period (150 million years ago, give or take), to see a Brachiosaurus in real life, you can own one in-game.

That being said, here is how to unlock the Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV and live out your Jurassic World dream on the back of a giant. Keep in mind that this may take some time, but the effort will be worth it in the end.

How to get the Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV

Interact with Bol Ogaw (NPC) and complete quests

To get the Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV, you will first have to visit an NPC called Bol Ogaw (3.8, 13.7). After interacting with them, you will be given four quests:

A New Dawn, A New Hunt
Why We Hunt
Hunting The Hunter
The Hunt Goes On

Completing these will reward you substantially and unlock the next part of the process. These will take some time, so it's best to mentally prepare and obtain the necessary gear/items you'll need to undertake these quests.

Interact with Ryubool Ja (NPC)

Once you complete the four aforementioned quests you will unlock an NPC called Ryubool Ja (13.9, 13.5). You can find him in Tuliyollal. When you interact with him, you will unlock the option to purchase the Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV. It will cost you 3,200 Sacks Of Nuts.

Getting the required amount will take some time, so as mentioned, getting a Brachiosaur mount in Final Fantasy XIV will be a long process. Now, if you need to obtain more Sacks Of Nuts, you could join a Hunt Train. Look for low-level areas if you plan on doing this solo or find other players to take on high-risk zones.
