Final Fantasy XIV: Everything new coming with patch 7.15
With patch 7.15 of Final Fantasy XIV released on December 17, 2024, the highly popular MMORPG has received yet another pack of content. Back in July 2024, the game received a massive expansion named Dawntrail, and now, with this new patch, players will get more things to explore as well as witness new quality changes that may have quite an effect on the game.
This article shares all the new things that have been introduced with the Final Fantasy XIV patch 7.15.

New Class Quests

- Custom Deliveries: Laying New Tracks
Alliance Raid
- Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) Alliance Raid: Scheduled to go live on December 24, 2024. You can preview rewards for the raid by speaking to Uah'shepya in Solution Nine.

Housing
New furnishings added:
- Features winning entries from the 2022 FFXIV Furnishing Design Contest.
- Includes new indoor and outdoor furnishings.
Miscellaneous features
New hairstyle:
- New hairstyle for players, inspired by 2023 FFXIV Hairstyle Design Contest entries and winners.
Crafting and gathering updates
Custom deliveries:
- Players can complete deliveries to Nitowikwe in Shaaloani.
- Rewards include gil, experience points, crafters' scrips, or gatherers' scrips.
- A maximum of 12 deliveries can be completed weekly.
Players who raise Nitowikwe’s satisfaction to the maximum level can:
- Cast glamours on Nitowikwe.
- Use glamour prisms as catalysts for glamouring.
- Glamoured items become bound and cannot be sold or traded.
New recipes:
- Added for crafters.
Gathering points:
- New items and fish varieties are now available.

PvP changes
Job balancing adjustments
Nerfs:
- Astrologian, Samurai, and Paladin saw reductions to certain abilities.
Buffs:
- Bard, Viper, and Black Mage received improvements to their PvP kits.

- Job Crystal Displays: 3000 gil from Housing Merchants, Estate Maidservants/Manservants, Apartment Merchants, etc.
- Wachumeqimeqi Balloon: Completion reward for the new Wachumeqimeqi Quests
- Skydeep Lamp: Skydeep Cenote (dungeon)
- Origenics Monitor Desk: Origenics (dungeon)

- Dais of Darkness: Unlockable on December 24. Earn it by completing Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) and trading 75 Clouddark Materia II with Uah'shepya in Solution Nine.
- Shroud of Darkness: Unlockable on December 24. Obtain it by completing Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic) and exchanging 99 Clouddark Materia I with Uah'shepya in Solution Nine.

- Wisp of Darkness: A drop from Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic)
Bug fixes and improvements
Issues resolved:
- Fixed bugs in PvP.
- Addressed problems in the Futures Rewritten (Ultimate) raid.
Upcoming content
Starlight Celebration Event returns soon to add seasonal content for players.
