What will be the gameplay mechanics of Final Fantasy 14 Mobile?
FFXIV Mobile is designed to replicate the core FFXIV experience. The storyline begins with ARR and may include expansions depending on the game's success. The initial release will feature the following battle classes: Marauder, Thaumaturge, Conjurer, Archer, Gladiator, Arcanist, Pugilist, Lancer, and Summoner. All crafting and gathering jobs will also be available, preserving the depth of the original MMO.
The game’s controls and interface are optimized for touchscreen gameplay, though there are still some concerns about how effective they will be. Visual elements like weather patterns and iconic locations, such as Ul'dah, Limsa Lominsa, and Gridania, will also be faithfully recreated.
