Gridskipper updated god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP
Gridskipper returns as one of many weapons from Destiny 2 Season of the Splicer. On the other hand, Revenant has been a season based around the Fallen, so it is only natural that a few of the gear pieces from past Fallen seasons return with new perks. Typically, this Pulse Rifle has been a powerful asset in several activities, due to its Rapid Fire Framed archetype, and the Void element.
This article lists the best perks on the returning Gridskipper Pulse Rifle for PvE and PvP. Note that this weapon will not be craftable, but each perk can be enhanced.
Gridskipper PvE god roll in Destiny 2
Here is a list of the recommended perk combinations for Gridskipper in PvE:
- Chambered Compensator for increased Stability and reduced recoil.
- Extended Mag for increased magazine size.
- Repulsor Brace for gaining an overshield after defeating a void-debuffed target.
- Destabilizing Rounds for spreading Volatile debuff to adjacent targets from the killed enemy
Demolitionist is a great perk for Grenade builds as an alternative, as it can directly grant energy with each kill. Frenzy is also a decent alternative in the fourth column for damage and other stats.
Gridskipper PvP god roll in Destiny 2
Here is a list of the recommended perk combinations for Gridskipper in PvP:
- Arrowhead Brake for increased Handling and reduced recoil.
- Ricochet Rounds for increased Stability and Range on the weapon.
- Lone Wolf for increased Accuracy on the weapon. The effect increases when there are no allies nearby
- Headseeker for increased precision damage after body shots
Zen Moment and Perpetual Motion are both great alternatives in the third column. However, Headseeker seems to be the only decent option in the final column. While Desperate Measures does come close, it is still recommended for players to go with Headseeker.
How to get Gridskipper in Destiny 2?
Gridskipper is the newest Pulse Rifle added with Revenant Act II. Hence, the drop source of this gear piece lies within the new seasonal activity, Tomb of Elders. Players can run Tomb of Elders in any activity and hope to get the weapon as a drop. For target farming, specific tonic recipes will help to boost the drop rate.
