How to get to the Forest on Luma Island

Forest is one of the biomes you can explore in Luma Island. Unlike the starting biome, the Forest is much more hostile and can be lethal if you are not prepared enough to battle the new enemies. In this biome, you will find better materials, like iron ore, and more. You should start stacking them as soon as possible, so you can upgrade your tools and gear.

In this guide, we have shared everything you will need to know to unlock the Forest on Luma Island.

To get access to the Forest in Luma Island, start by heading to the town from your house. Once you enter the town, immediately turn to the right, and follow the path. You’ll find a broken bridge located behind Sylvia’s shop. This bridge is the only way to reach the Forest, so you will need to repair it to unlock the Forest area.

Repairing the broken bridge requires gathering specific materials. First, you’ll need 2 Bridge Beams, which cannot be crafted and must be purchased from the Lumberjack’s Shop or Carpenter’s Shop for 1,000 gold each. Next, you’ll need 5 Silk Rope, which is crafted at the Simple Workbench.

To make Silk Rope, you’ll need Spider Silk and Fiber. Spider Silk is obtained by defeating spiders in abandoned caves or breaking spider webs found in temples. Fiber, on the other hand, is crafted from reeds that grow near water on the Farm. Chop reeds with your axe and refine them on the Workbench.

Additionally, you’ll require 10 Farm Planks, crafted at the Sawmill, using Farm Logs collected from trees on the Farm. Finally, you need 10 Farm Stone Blocks, which are also crafted at the Sawmill using Farm Stone gathered from around the Farm.

Once you’ve procured all the necessary materials, return to the broken bridge. Interact with it to deposit the items, and the bridge will be repaired automatically. After this, you’ll gain access to the Forest on Luma Island.
