How to get to the Jungle in Luma Island

The Jungle is one of the many biomes you will encounter in Luma Island. As with other new areas, this too is home to a whole new sandbox level, full of fresh resources, enemies, puzzles, and more. That said, getting to the location can be a tad tricky, as you must meet certain prerequisites in the starting area before you can access the Jungle.

This process, as with most things in the game, can be somewhat grindy and resource-draining. Here is how to get to the Jungle in Luma Island.

This is one of the later biomes that players will unlock since it requires some late-game resources. To get to the Jungle, you must first do the following two things:

  • Repair the Lighthouse in the Town
  • Repair the broken boat on the Farm's beach

The broken Lighthouse is located at the far end of the Town, next to the docks. After seeing the sorry state of the Lighthouse and approaching Fisherman Nelson, you will be able to spend resources to build it back to its former glory. This requires the following:

  • Silk Rope (x15)
  • Mountain Planks (x30)
  • Scaffolding (x10)

Note that this is just the initial repair. The second phase of the Lighthouse reconstruction demands these resources:

  • Glass (x20)
  • Bag of Cement (x15)
  • Mountain Stone Blocks (x50)
  • Moonstone Bars (X30)

Scaffolding will need to be purchased from Sophia's General Store in the Town, while other materials can mostly be found in the Mountain biome.

After the Lighthouse has been fixed, you will obtain the Lost Jungle Island map, which is part of the second prerequisite for unlocking the Jungle in Luma Island.

The boat wrecks can be found near the pier on the beach of the Farm. It needs the following materials to be repaired:

  • Lost Jungle Island Map
  • Boat Motor
  • Boat Propellor
  • Moonstone Bars (x25)
  • Mountain Planks (X50)
  • Mountain Color (X50)

The two boat parts, the Motor and Propellor, also require a decent level of progression and investment on your part. For one, the Motor can be purchased from the Fishing Shop in the Town for 100,000 Gold Coins, which is a very hefty price.

The Boat Propellor, on the other hand, sits atop the mountain in the Mountain area, and you must navigate a series of puzzles and enemy encounters to obtain it. Once all ingredients have been assembled and the boat has been repaired, you can use it to travel to the Jungle biome.

Luma Island is available exclusively on PCs.
