The Uncut Spirit Gems in Path of Exile 2 are used to unlock Persistent Buff Skill Gems. Uncut Spirit Gems in Path of Exile 2 guide
Uncut Spirit Gems are obtained primarily as drops from enemies and containers. The first guaranteed drop comes from the King in the Mists boss in Freythorn, located near the Hunting Grounds in Act 1. If you are a beginner, we highly recommend you try to obtain it from here as soon as you can.

Beyond this boss, Uncut Spirit Gems are uncommon drops from Rare Monsters and certain containers. That too, only those Rare Monsters with two or more modifiers have a chance to drop them.
Additionally, gold-rarity containers like treasure chests and gem baskets can yield Uncut Spirit Gems, while others, such as weapon racks and effigies, do not. You should prioritize farming high-rarity containers and areas with Rare Monsters for better chances.
How to use Uncut Spirit Gems in Path of Exile 2
To use an Uncut Spirit Gem, right-click it to open the Gemcutting menu. From there, select the Persistent Buff Skill Gem you wish to engrave. Once engraved, it can be equipped in your skill gem slots.

Once done, you must activate it through the Gem menu (G). Right-click the spell icon in the menu to activate the gem. Activation reserves a portion of your Spirit resource, which starts at 30 Spirit for most Tier-1 Buff Gems. Adding Support Gems to Buff Gems increases their Spirit cost, so you should carefully manage their Spirit resource or equip items like a Scepter to help with Spirit regeneration.
