Insurmountable god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvPĀ
Insurmountable flew under everyone's radar when it came out at first in Destiny 2 Episode Revenant. This seasonal weapon shares its archetype with one of the game's rarest types, the Precision Framed Sidearms. These weapons have periodically become lost in time due to the lower number in release, and their usage with context to the current activities in-game.
Insurmountable has some decent perks that can dovetail heavily with the Void subclass. The elemental primary weapons are known for being great workhorses alongside a subclass' Fragments. The Void elemental Insurmountable is no different. This article lists the best perks for this weapon in PvE and PvP.
Insurmountable PvE god roll for Destiny 2
Here is a list of all perks recommended on the Insurmountable for PvE:
- Fluted Barrel for increased Stability and Handling on the weapon
- Appended Mag for increased magazine size
- Repulsor Brace for gaining overshield upon defeating a target with void debuff
- Destabilizing Rounds for a Void explosion and inflicting Volatile on adjacent enemies
The aforementioned combination is great with a Void subclass, and for clearing out a room full of mobs. Precision-framed sidearms have a decent distribution in the impact and range stats, allowing them to be quite powerful at the base level. Regardless, players can go for Surrounded for increased damage, alongside Threat Detector for utility.

- Lone Wolf for Accuracy and Handling of the weapon. The effects of these stats are doubled when no allies are nearby
- Closing Time for increased Range, Accuracy, and Handling once the magazine goes lower
Alternatives include To the Pain, Harmony, and Rampage in PvP.
How to get Insurmountable in Destiny 2?
Insurmountable is a seasonal Sidearm that can be farmed from either the Onslaught Salvation activity or the Tomb of Elders. Both are seasonal activities in Episode Revenant and drop one of many seasonal weapons from the loot pool. For target farming, however, players are recommended to craft potions for the weapon and complete the activities.
