Is Path of Exile 2 on Xbox Game Pass?
Path of Exile 2 has become one of the most anticipated titles this year. Amidst all the excitement in the community, many wonder if the game will become available on certain platforms. There is good and bad news surrounding this, with the main topic being the Xbox Game Pass on PC. Currently, it seems that Path of Exile 2 Early Access will not be available on Xbox Game Pass.
The reason is the unavailability of the multiple Supporters Pack required to unlock the Early Access. Players can play the Early Access version from December 6, 2024, via Steam, Epic Games Launcher, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series XS.
Once the game releases with a full version, developers might add it to the Game Pass, although it hasn't been confirmed yet. The final launch is scheduled to be free to play, and can also be accessed via multiple other platforms.
Path of Exile 2 Early Access will not be available on Xbox Game Pass PC
While GGG's second installment in their massive ARPG project will see the light in multiple consoles and clients, the Xbox Game Pass will not be one of them. This is the case for the Early Access version only, since players are required to purchase a special Supporters pack. The Game Pass, however, does not have these packs listed in their shop.
It remains highly unlikely that GGG will keep the Early Access off the Game Pass shop since the company would love to have as much audience as possible despite having a great following in the market. A final date for any listing, however, remains unknown for now.
Players looking to play the game on the Xbox Series XS console can do so by simply purchasing an Xbox Game Pass Core or above to get Early Access. However, once it goes free sometime in 2025, PC players must look at either Steam or Epic Games Store, since the Xbox Game Pass is usually a place for paid games.
