Here is a list of all key additions to the game thanks to this holiday-themed update:

New Location "Buzzing Island"

Buzzing Island is located to the left of Tortoyk in the Gienah Sea. As the name suggests, this island is home to whimsical bees, and is teeming with new challenges and quests for players to undertake. It is recommended that players should be at Level 1520 or above, to be able to take on the ordeals in this region.

It is also possible to turn into a bee and view the world from a new perspective with their friends. Moreover, players can also indulge in the Trial of Honor challenge to join the Royal Guard by beating opponents in a race.

Pet ability system

This is an overhaul for Pets, allowing them to learn abilities via Ability Training at the Stronghold Ranch. Abilities fall under three categories — Rare, Epic, and Legendary (each more powerful than the previous). These power-ups can be increased HP, enhanced Crit rates, and more.

Abilities are tied to Security Division placements, and as such, only activate when a Pet is in that specific division with a matching ability type. Pets can also be released, but this is a permanent choice; players must be sure about letting their critter go, as it cannot be retrieved once lost.

Voldis Powerpass & Hyper Awakening Road events

This new progression event will help ease the grind for players to reach Tier 4 and access Hyper Awakenings. Players will get a Powerpass that drops them in Voldis with an Item Level 1540. It will be active until December 18, 2024.

Pairing with this, the Hyper Awakening Road will help boost characters with Item Levels 1540 to 1620. Furthermore, on top of receiving progression-boosting effects, players will also obtain valuable caches with enticing rewards like honing materials, Silver, Gold, and more. The Hyper Awakening Road remains active from November 27, 2024, to January 15, 2025.

Toto’s Ice Castle minigame

This is a returning minigame that will last until the February 2025 update. Toto’s Ice Castle minigame is accessible from all major cities. Players will be turned into Mokokos upon entering the castle, after which they will be engaging in a minigame where they must avoid icy tiles and break snowflakes using special skills.

This minigame can be accessed at every even hour (2 pm, 4 pm, etc), and once per roster per day. Players will also earn event tokens by completing challenges including clearing Chaos Dungeons, Kurzan Front, or Guardian Raids. The special Freja Tokens can also be spent at the event shop for various items.
