Treasure Hunter is a profession you can choose in Luma Island. As the name suggests, you have to find and dig up treasures. You can equip a cute Indiana Jones-like outfit and go around exploring with your trusty dog buddy. However, at one point, you'll need to have Luma energy, and for that, you must to remove the dog and equip a Luma.

Starting as a Treasure Hunter in Luma Island provides a unique advantage: you receive a free pet (dog) right away. This pet plays a critical role in helping you find hidden treasures scattered around the island. While the default pet works perfectly, use any pet or Luma to accomplish the same task. For the Treasure Hunter profession, Captain Quincy will act as your mentor.
As you explore, your pet will occasionally guide you to random spots where you can dig for treasure chests. These chests are color-coded to indicate their rarity and rewards, ranging from Black (Common) to Blue (Rare) and Purple (Epic).
Beyond treasure chests, you may come across shiny mounds of dirt with items sticking out. These are loot piles that provide additional Treasure Hunter materials. Collecting these resources is essential for crafting items and advancing in the profession.

Why do you need to fish as Treasure Hunter in Luma Island?
Fishing is a key component of the Treasure Hunter profession, as it is the primary method of obtaining different types of Essence, such as Cursed, Ghostly, Mystic, and Ancient Essence. To start fishing for treasure, you'll need to craft Magnets at the Ore Smelter using smelted ore bars. Each area requires a specific type of magnet.

Once you have your magnets, equip your fishing rod and select the magnet as bait. Look for bodies of water with visible bubbles, as these indicate treasure below. Cast your line into these spots and reel in your catch to collect essence.
Cleaning and crafting as Treasures Hunter in Luma Island
The treasures you collect from fishing must be cleaned before use. This is done at the Treasure Hunter's Sink, which becomes available once you begin the profession's quests. Cleaning treasures requires Fabric, which is crafted from Cotton — a resource harvested from plants with round white flowers. Fabric can be made at a Simple Workbench, so it’s a good idea to gather cotton frequently to ensure a steady supply.
Treasure Hunter recipes also require Luma Energy for their first craft. Subsequent crafts use only the specified materials, making it essential to plan your energy usage carefully.
