New World Aeternum devs reveal detailed roadmap, including future plans 'in exploration'
New World Aeternum Season 7 is right around the corner and as such the developers have a lot of information to share regarding upcoming content. A detailed 'living' roadmap has been revealed, showcasing new features, content, reworks, and ideas that are being worked on.
This is what the developers had to say:
We’ve been listening to players and we know how important it is for the community to be informed of and understand what is planned for the game. To that end, we are releasing a new roadmap format that we are calling a Living Roadmap. "
According to the developers, their ultimate goal with this living roadmap is to help keep the community informed about what is in development. The word 'living' indicates that it will evolve and change as needed or if the situation demands.
This living roadmap covers three broad categories of feature development: Next Season (Season 7), In Development, and In Exploration. That said, here's a deep dive into the New World Aeternum living roadmap.

Next Season (Season 7)
These features/updates will be implemented shortly when New World Aeternum Season 7 goes live. Details regarding the full scope of changes are limited, but the developers have mentioned they will provide a follow-up soon. For now, here is a list of everything that has been confirmed:

- New OPR Map Preview
- Mutated Expeditions Upgrades (M3 in Matchmaking, New Rewards, Unified Mutations)
- New Daily Solo Trials
- Combat Balance Updates (Every Season)
