Elon Musk proves his Diablo 4 mettle with sub-2-minute Tier 150 run
When Elon Musk isn't looking toward the stars and humanity's next home in the cosmos, he's often playing Diablo 4. However, unlike most casual players who play the game as a hobby, Elon is more of a professional at this point. While this may seem an understatement, he could even give Lilith a run for her money in Diablo.
After flexing for weeks and months, he's done something so insane, that if it wasn't recorded no one would believe it. Clearing The Pit (Tier 150) is challenging as it is, but Elon decided to take it one step further by clearing it in what is quite possibly a new world record of under two minutes.
"Diablo 4 Tier 150 finished in under 2 mins." - Elon Musk's speedrun leaves fans in awe
To understand how huge of a deal this is, Level 150 of Diablo 4’s endgame Artificer’s Pit is the final gauntlet for players to run. This is by far the hardest thing to do, given that it takes a considerably long time to prepare for the endgame. In short, it's neither easy nor a task for those without patience. In terms of Diablo 4 difficulty levels, this is hell incarnate.

As per the global leaderboards on site: helltides.com, which ranks players on completion time, a player from the US holds the current record. Their name is Resistance (quite fitting) and they completed The Pit (Tier 150) with a time of 1:59 minutes. This is surely impressive, but Elon Musk has taken it a step further. This is what he had to say:
"So many life lessons to be learned from speedrunning video games on max difficulty. Teaches you to see the matrix, rather than simply exist in the matrix. Diablo Tier 150 finished in under 2 mins."
As seen in the video he posted on X, the timestamp for completing The Pit (Tier 150) is around 1:52. This is at least five to six seconds below the current record-holder. The site has yet to update this speedrun, but if Elon Musk's run is accepted, he will technically be the number-one ranked player in the world. That, too, by quite a good margin. If this wasn't amazing enough, there's more.
X marks the spot!
A user named tvd33c on X commented under another speedrun video and stated they would get an "X" tattooed on themselves. The condition was that Elon Musk had to clear T150 in under 2:33 minutes or less.
Given that the challenge is now complete, the user replied to Elon under the current speedrun video and agreed to uphold their end of the bargain. They are currently booking an appointment as per their statement and will upload a picture when it is completed.
