Free god roll weapons to be given away for the recent Destiny 2 Perk RNG issue

Destiny 2 shared a major revelation with the community, where the developers confirmed a flaw within the game mode. This has impacted the weapon's perks directly during their drops, allowing a few perks to be favored over others. As a result, players have been struggling to get the best perk combinations from activity drops. While Bungie did address the issue and confirmed a fix with the November 5 reset, there are a few gifts as well for the community in the future.

Bungie will be putting in a handful of Legendary weapons on the Banshee shop with the best perk combinations. Additionally, Vesper's Host Dungeon will also drop double loot from November 19 to December 3, 2024.

Bungie is giving away free god roll weapons in Destiny 2

Aside from fixing the Perk RNG issue, the developers of Destiny 2 are compensating players with free god roll weapons.

Here is the official statement from the development team:

"Starting November 19, Banshee-44 will have a small collection of weapons in the Tower with curated perk rolls. Our goal is to get you some perk combinations that were a bit harder to earn due to the bug. We do not currently have a planned deadline for acquisition, but we recommend picking these weapons up at your earliest convenience."

Here is the list of weapons that can be picked up from Banshee starting November 19:

Rose: Fluted Barrel, Accurized Rounds, Slideshot, Explosive Payload, Smooth Grip, Handling Masterwork
Multimach: Polygonal Rifling, Tactical Mag, Attrition Orbs, Kinetic Tremors, Reload Masterwork
Indebted Kindness: Smart Drift Control, Tactical Mag, Loose Change, Voltshot, Velocity Masterwork
Compass Rose: Corkscrew Rifling, Light Mag, Snapshot Sights, Slideshot, Handling MW
Hothead (Adept): Hard Launch, Impact Casing, Tracking Module, Clown Cartridge, Reload Masterwork
VS Chill Inhibitor: Countermass, Spike Grenades, Envious Arsenal, Bait and Switch, Reload Masterwork

As mentioned, Destiny 2 Vesper's Host Dungeon will be dropping double loot from November 19 to December 3.
