Palworld x Terraria crossover announced, set for 2025
With 2024 drawing to its end, Palworld has revealed an inkling of what to expect in the upcoming year. A crossover with Terraria is in the works and will arrive sometime in 2025. This is quite exciting news and not one many would have seen coming.
Palworld was released earlier this year in January and quickly became a smash hit. It currently sits third on the list of all-time concurrent player peaks on Steam with 2,101,867. A DLC was launched in the middle of the year, with further updates coming in tow.
Palworld and Terraria collaboration coming in 2025
As mentioned before, the exciting collaboration between Palworld and Terraria will be available sometime next year. The official announcement came earlier today (November 27, 2024) on the game's X channel. No further details regarding what to expect or when the release date might be have been shared, with the post merely saying "More info coming soon!".
The X post also confirmed that fans should expect more content for the game before this year ends:
"2024 isn't finished yet for Palworld and we have some exciting news about the next update coming VERY SOON..."
The collaboration announcement is eliciting both a sense of excitement and surprise among the community. While the reason for the former is quite evident, the latter stems from the recent troubles that have plagued Pocketpair.

Earlier this year, The Pokemon Company and Nintendo filed a patent infringement lawsuit against Palworld devs. In Pocketpair's update on the same, the lawsuit points at three patents, along with the following claims:
- An injunction against Palworld
- Payment of 5 million yen plus late payment damages to The Pokemon Company
- Payment of 5 million yen plus late payment damages to Nintendo Co., Ltd.
While it remains to be seen how the lawsuit proceeds, fans will be excited to learn more about what year-ending content lies in wait and, of course, the Terraria collaboration.
