Once Human's new and improved Scenario sign-up system, explained

The Scenario sign-up system is essential to Once Human, allowing you to join any Scenario after each season ends. This system recently received its update 2.0 which went live on November 21. This update revamped the Scenario sign-up system by introducing various features such as advance registration, faction scenario sign-up, and team sign-up.

Given below are the new features introduced to the Scenario sign-up system:

Advance Registration

This feature allows you to sign up for any scenario you want to join in advance. There will be two phases to every round of advance registration: a registration phase, and a lock-in phase. The lock-in phase starts when the registration phase ends.

The servers will launch after the lock-in phase ends. However, the launch of the servers would be based on the number of players who join, and the number of servers and Worlds will also depend on it.

If you cancel during the lock-in phase, you will lose the advance registration for that specific round. The 24 hours prior to the server launch constitute the lock-in phase. The launch time of every server would be displayed in the game panel. Note that if you make any advance registration after the start of the lock-in phase, it will be counted for the next round.

Also, you can directly join a server after it has opened. You just need to select any active server and it will let you join if there are any spots available.

Faction Scenario Sign-up

You will have two options when you sign up for faction scenarios like Prismverse's Clash: you can either choose a faction yourself or let the system assign you one.

The overall player numbers and the faction balance will decide whether the server will launch at the specified time. If the conditions are fulfilled, the servers will launch when scheduled. However, if not many players sign up, the scenario will get delayed once, but it will launch after that.

Team Sign-up

A new team sign-up feature has been added to the game where you can invite your friends to form a team. The sign-up statuses of all team members will follow the team leader. Also, if you sign up with a team, you and your other teammates will be placed in the same server and the same faction.
