Path of Exile 2 Tinker's Tools bug: Is there a fix yet?
Path of Exile 2 has various areas where you have the chance to find hidden loot. One such instance is the Tinker's Tools that you can find at the Mawdun Quarry. In order to get these hidden loots, you have to clear and comb the entire area. However, due to a bug, the Tinker's Tools might not appear for you even after you clear the Mawdun Quarry. As a result, your progression may halt as you will not be able to complete Mawdun Quarry.
So — has this problem been fixed officially? No. More on that later. In this article, we will discuss what the bug is, and if there is any other way for you to get this hidden loot in Path of Exile 2.
Path of Exile 2: Mawdun Quarry Tinker's Tools bug
The map for Mawdun Quarry is huge and it may take you a while to clear it. Once done, you are supposed to get the Tinker's Tools as the loot that is said to drop from Miners in the area. However, due to this bug, a lot of players have not been able to get this optional hidden loot.

As mentioned previously, at the time of writing, the developers at Grinding Gear Games have not released any official fix for this problem. However, several players have been able to open chests in this area, so, you can try to find the loot in this manner.
You can also try to reset instances in Path of Exile 2 in order to increase your chances of the loot appearing. If you want to know how to change instances in this game, you can check out this article.
