Scavenger's Fate god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP
Scavenger's Fate is one of the two new Act II weapons released in Destiny 2 Episode Revenant. This particular gear piece is a Precision Framed Shotgun, which fires with a spreading pallet. The archetype should not be confused with Precision Slug Frame, which can fire projectiles without any spread. The former is preferred for PvP fights, as shutting down Guardians with one body shot is easier.
This isn't to say that the weapon won't fare well in PvE, as the Void element paired with some of the newer options can shred elite mobs and bosses easily. Readers will find the best perks for this Shotgun below.

- Smallbore for increased Stability and Range.
- Assault Mag for increased Stability and fire rate on the weapon.
- Repulsor Brace for gaining an overshield after defeating a target with Void debuff.
- Destabilizing Rounds for a Void explosion kill and spreading the Volatile debuff to adjacent targets.
The perk combination mentioned above can help you clear mobs while providing enough survivability for the user. For damaging bosses and elites, you can use perks like Dual Loader and Vorpal Weapon.
Scavenger's Fate PvP god roll in Destiny 2
Here is a list of perks recommended on the Scavenger's Fate Shotgun for PvP:
- Full Choke for a tightened barrel to reduce the pallet spread.
- Accurized Rounds for increased Range on the weapon.
- Slideshot for increased Range on the weapon shortly after sliding.
- Closing Time for increased Range, Accuracy, and Handling as the magazine gets lower.
Other perks, such as Lone Wolf, can be paired with Closing Time for stacking Accuracy, alongside Discord and Harmony for increased effect after kills with other weapons in the inventory. Both perks can be benefitted simultaneously.
How to get Scavenger's Fate in Destiny 2?
Scavenger's Fate Shotgun can be farmed from the Tomb of Elders seasonal activity in Revenant Act II, alongside the Onslaught Salvation. Players can choose to get a few tonics for a boost in the drop rate. Note that Revenant weapons are not craftable but can be enhanced by leveling up. Hence, each perk must be acquired via luck.
