The First Descendant players can get free Ult Bunny, but they'll have to hurry
As a holiday gift, The First Descendant players can get their hands on the Ult Bunny character for completely free. The catch is that it's a time-limited availability, and you'll have to get started before January 2, 2025. Ult Bunny has remained one of the top-tier mobbing characters in the looter-shooter ever since its launch, so it's probably a good idea to grab it if you plan to get back into the game.
Ult Bunny can be obtained for free as part of the ongoing Winter Festival, which started on December 5. If you're only hearing about it now, it's still not too late to get the most prized freebie from the ongoing event.
How to get Ultimate Bunny for free in The First Descendant (Winter Festival event)
Long story short: to get Ult Bunny for free, you must log in for 14 days between December 5, 2024 - January 15, 2025. At the time of writing, this leaves about 17 days to carry out the task, which is just a bit over what you need.
You will get this as a free login reward for a cumulative 14 days of logging in, and there's no streak system to break your progression. After logging in on the 14th day, you will get 10x Descendant Special Support Box, which are Gold Coins that you can turn in to Anais in The First Descendant.
There are two things you can claim with these Gold Coins. Firstly, you can get a full Ultimate Bunny Research Material Bundle, which gives you all the materials you'll need to craft Ult Bunny yourself. Alternatively, you can get the HQ Gift Box, which contains a few Emotes and two skins for the Sharen Descendant.
The game hands you the regular variant of Bunny quite easily very early on in the game. However, Ultimate Bunny has higher base stats and more importantly, lets you use exclusive Trasncendant Mods like High Voltage.
It's also worth noting a few other freebies that you'll get out of the Winter Festival Event in The First Descendant. This includes any Descendant of your choice via the Descendant Exchange Tokens, as well as a large number of goodies like Energy Activators and Crystallization Catalysts via Descendant Growth Tokens.
