How to get Gold Dust and Gold Nugget in Towers of Aghasba

Gold Dust and Gold Nuggets are quite valuable in Towers of Aghasba. Gold Dust is especially useful for a variety of purposes, including purchasing cosmetic masks, buying recipes, and trading, making it highly versatile. Gold Nuggets are also incredibly valuable on their own, but you cannot simply find them in the wild — at least, not yet. This could change as we dive deeper, or as future updates roll out for this survival/crafting game.

There is a wealth of updates and content coming to Towers of Aghasba in the coming months, so changes to Gold Dust and Gold Nuggets could occur. If you’re looking for these resources, we’re here to help you find them.

How to farm Gold Dust and Gold Nuggets in Towers of Aghasba

Gold Dust can be found in many places in Towers of Aghasba, and thankfully, it’s not a rare resource. You can find an excellent spot to farm it on the map below, while you’re still on Amani Island for the early hours of this game. You can find it in two ways - by smashing Boulders/Iron Boulders with a pickaxe, or farming coal.

Coal will require a shovel though, but it does give you a good amount of Gold Dust, as well as Coal itself. You’ll find plenty of nodes to farm Coal throughout that southeastern portion of the map.

Later in the game, once you’re in other regions, you can find Gold Dust from mining other types of rocks, including Ruin Debris and Limestone Boulders. You can also farm it from Glory Mounds, but only if you have an Iron Shovel.

Gold Nuggets, on the other hand, come from the Gold Merchant in Towers of Aghasba. Once Midhaven has hit Tier 1, this merchant will show up. Don’t worry, this will unlock as you progress through the main story quests of this game. You can trade 100 Scraps for a Gold Nugget or 20 Scraps for a Gold Dust. Additionally, you can take five Gold Dust and trade it for a Gold Nugget.
