Vantage Point updated god roll guide for Destiny 2 PvE and PvP

Vantage Point is one of the few weapons added to the core seasonal loot pool in Destiny 2 Episode Revenant. This Arc Pulse Rifle fires at 390 rounds per minute, meaning that the weapon is of the Adaptive Framed archetype family. Its Arc element is powerful enough to shred enemies in endgame content, especially when paired with some of the newest elemental perks, making it powerful.

This article lists the best perks of Vantage Point Pulse Rifle for both PvE and PvP.

The following perks are recommended on the Vantage Point weapon for PvE:

  • Chambered Compensator for increased Stability, recoil control, and Handling.
  • Appended Mag for increased magazine size.
  • Eddy Current for increased handling and reload speed while sprinting. The effects increase while the user is Amplified.
  • Jolting Feedback for applying the Jolt debuff on targets upon dealing repeated damage to them. Jolt can be applied faster while being Amplified.

The aforementioned combination will work best with the Arc 3.0 subclass. Both the Jolt and Amplified loops will help clear out rooms full of mobs, even in endgame content.

For more boss DPS, the weapon can also have perks such as One for All, Headseeker, and Focused Fury.

  • Accurized Rounds for increased Range on the weapon.
  • Keep Away for increased reload speed, Range, and Accuracy when no enemies are nearby.
  • Headseeker for increased precision damage after body shots.

Desperado is a great perk for increased fire rate on the weapon, alongside Closing Time for the same buff as Keep Away, but only when the magazine gets lower.

How to get Vantage Point in Destiny 2?

Vantage Point can be obtained as a drop from seasonal activities in Episode Revenant. This includes Onslaught Salvation in Act I, alongside the Tomb of Elders in Act II. Additionally, there are tonic recipes that can be brewed within the Last City hub, as some tonics can be target-farmed from the activities.
