Warframe PSA: You can claim a free Legendary Core by logging in before 2025
All players can log in right now to claim a free Legendary Core in Warframe. This reward is waiting for you in your mailbox, courtesy of a QTCC (Quest to Conquer Cancer) campaign, and there's only one catch: you'll have to claim it before December 31, 2024, or else it will expire.
The Legendary Core is not the only thing you can get, as the QTCC campaign has picked up over $300,000 at the time of writing, ticking off all the community reward milestones. While Warframe's QTCC 2023 campaign amassed a higher fund from Tenno around the world, the rewards this time around are much better.
What is the Warframe QTCC campaign?
Warframe developers host QTCC around Halloween every year as an annual charity campaign. Players can donate to the cause on the game's official website, and the proceeds go directly to the Toronto-based Princess Margaret Cancer Research Center.
Being tied to Warframe, QTCC shares in-game rewards with all players based on how many stretch goals are met. Like last year, all of the stretch goals were met this year as well. This means all players get access to a free Legendary Core, an item which is otherwise an exceedingly rare drop from Sorties.
How to get the free Legendary Core in Warframe
All you have to do to get this free Legendary Core is log into the game between November 1 and December 31, 2024. A message will be delivered to your inbox automatically, listing out all the free rewards from QTCC:
- Conquera 2024 Community Display
- Conquera Emblem
- Warframe Slot
- Weapon Slots (2)
- Conquera Magnolis Ink (Drifter cosmetic)
- Conquera Cherry Tree Ink (Drifter cosmetic)
- Legendary Core
The Legendary Core can be sold to another player for Platinum, or you can use it to get any of your mods to max rank without the Endo or Credit sink.

In addition to these rewards, a few of the QTCC drops are gated behind Alerts:
- 3x Built Forma - Available between November 1 and November 15 (2 pm ET); Complete a Defense Alert against lvl 20-30 Grineer to obtain.
- 1x Built Umbra Forma - Available between November 1 and November 15 (2 pm ET); Complete an Excavation Alert against lvl 20-30 Corpus to obtain.
- 3x Tauforged Archon Shards - Complete a Tenno United Alert on all platforms between November 15 at 2 p.m. ET and November 29 at 2 p.m. ET to receive a Crimson, Amber & Azure Tauforged Archon Shard.
