Where to get Metal Scraps in Enshrouded
Like most survival MMOs, Enshrouded requires you to gather resources before crafting items. Metal Scraps are an important resource that you need to craft better quality gear, weapons, and tools in the game. You can go to the Blacksmith to smelt Metal Scraps into Metal Sheets, which will help you make even better equipment.

Enshrouded: Where to get Metal Scraps
Early-game locations
Metal Scraps can be found in areas around Longkeep and Braelyn Bridge. Although these places have a decent supply of the resource, the village of Rookmore near the Braelyn Bridge has it in abundance.
Clearing the whole village will give you enough Metal Scraps to last you for some time. However, keep in mind that the village has a number of humanoid enemies known as Scavengers.

Defeating Scavengers
Scavengers are humanoid enemies that drop Metal Scraps and other materials as loot when you defeat them. Since all enemies do not drop Metal Scraps, hunting Scavengers will be very useful as they are more or less guaranteed to drop the resource.
You can come across Scavengers in areas outside the Shroud. Each Scavenger can drop about two to three pieces of Metal Scraps. Rookmore is a also good location as there are around half a dozen Scavengers in the village.

Scavenging ruins
The entire map of Enshrouded is dotted with settlements, which can be treasure troves for scavenging Metal Scraps. You can look for the resource in chests and workbenches in these areas.
Make sure that you search every part of the settlements as Metal Scraps can be difficult to spot from a distance. If you get close to Metal Scraps, you will get a prompt to collect it. Objects that have metal parts in them can drop Metal Scraps when you demolish them.
