He admitted to the support provided by LightSpeed Studios, which is renowned for its expertise in mobile game development.


2) Leverages the main game's universe

While Final Fantasy XIV Mobile shares the same universe as the main game, Yoshida emphasized that it is not merely a port. The mobile version is designed as a “sibling title” for shorter and casual play sessions.


3) Faithful adaptation of content and mechanics

The Final Fantasy XIV Mobile will begin its journey with the A Realm Reborn (2.0) storyline and gradually introduce additional content, aiming to catch up to the main game’s latest version (currently 7.0).

Special adjustments have been made to job actions and battle systems to accommodate touch-based controls, ensuring a seamless experience for mobile players.
