All Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars, ranked

The six new Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars introduced with the new Angels vs Demons season shakes up the gameplay quite a bit. All of these abilities, usable only in the three new special game modes, can make many Brawlers better than before as they are bestowed with new holy powers. However, you must know the best Angelic abilities and which Brawlers you must use them with.

This article will rank all the six Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars from worst to best and also state which Brawlers are best suited with these abilities.

All Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars ranked from worst to best

6) Ascension

  • Description: Grants extra movement speed, which is increased with every Angel teammate.
  • Best Brawlers: 8-Bit, Surge, Crow, Mortis, Kenji

Ascension is one of the least effective Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars. While this particular movement speed boost might sound good on paper, it’s less useful in battle since enemies can still hit you if they are aware of the ability. This is why it is at the bottom of this list at rank six since the other Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars are significantly better.

The only way to effectively use Ascension is by pairing it with slower Brawlers like 8-Bit and Surge or movement-focused ones like Kenji or Mortis. Some of the best assassins in Brawl Stars, like Crow and Leon, can also make good use of the ability.

5) Radiant Touch

  • Description: Damaging enemies creates a healing aura, healing more per Angel teammate.
  • Best Brawlers: Frank, Emz, El Primo, Colt, Edgar

Radiant Touch is one of the more mediocre Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars. While the additional healing you get upon hitting enemies might sound good, it’s not always effective in battle since it's not enough to outlive the damage you take from assassins and primary damage dealers. Since other Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars provide better benefits, this ability comes in at rank five.

We recommend using characters like Edgar and El Primo since they have high attack speeds that can bank on their added healing to become almost unkillable. This ability is suited with a good Edgar build since he already has a self-healing passive, healing himself even more per hit.

4) Smite

  • Description: You fire beams of light that damage and slow enemies.
  • Best Brawlers: Mortis, Kenji, Mico, Crow, Fang

Smite is one of the weirder and situational Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars. If you have this power active, you shoot out beams of light around you every few seconds. While this doesn't sound very impressive, it can be a great deal for many Brawlers since it also slows down enemies.

For example, Mortis and Kenji can get up close and get more kills on slower enemies. The same can be said for Crow, as you can jump on slowed enemies to finish them off with his super. Its situational efficacy at slowing nearby enemies and prepping them up for the kill gives it the fourth spot.

3) Seraphim

  • Description: Spawn a healing Angelic ally when a teammate is defeated. This ally is stronger if the teammate is an Angel.
  • Best Brawlers: Any Brawler

Seraphim is one of the best Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars since this ability has nothing to do with the Brawler you are using. Since it revives a teammate of yours, it doesn’t matter what Brawlers you are playing as. The ability to instantly revive teammates is always effective in the heat of battle, granting it the third rank on this list.

It's most effective if you manage to revive dead melee fighters like El Primo, Edgar or Buzz, as they can get close to enemies before punching them right in the face for the kill.

2) Blessed Barrier

  • Description: Dealing damage grants you a shield that gets stronger by dealing more damage.
  • Best Brawlers: Edgar, El Primo, Buster, Frank, Crow

Having a shield for added defense is always welcome, especially with Angelic abilities in Brawl Stars, like Blessed Barrier, doing exactly that. This can be a boon for squishy Brawlers with less health, like Crow, to increase its survivability as it uses its super to jump on enemies.

Moreover, melee fighters like El Primo, Frank, and Edgar can also become nigh unkillable since they can use this shield to get up close with enemies and knock them down without worrying too much. This is why this is the second-best Angelic ability since you can regenerate your shield on every hit, making it better than the other lower-ranked powers on this list.

1) Rebirth

  • Description: Instead of being defeated, you knock enemies back and become invulnerable for a short time.
  • Best Brawlers: El Primo, Edgar, Buzz, Leon, Mortis

Rebirth is undoubtedly the best Agelic ability in Brawl Stars. This is the same as Seraphim, except this time, it's you who gets revived along with gaining invulnerability for a few seconds. Therefore, this acts as a get-out-of-jail-free card, allowing you to stay alive on the battlefield a bit longer and not die at all if you are careful enough.

While you do get resurrected with only one health, Edgar and Buzz can quickly besat down enemies and regain health immediately. Using the best Mortis build can help you do the same if you use his super to regain health quickly and defeat enemies simultaneously.
