The Targeted and Targeted Memory Trace Ash Echoes banners have similar mechanics. They both become available for a limited time and offer new items at a boosted drop rate.

The Echomancer banner offers 6-star and 5-star characters at a higher drop rate for a specific period. Similarly, the Memory Traces banner offers SSR and SR traces at a higher drop rate.

Here are the Targeted Echomancer and Memory Traces banners currently available, along with their featured Ash Echoes characters:

  • Gleaming Light: This is an Echomancer banner, available till November 28, 2024. It features a 6-star, Cen Ying, and three 5-star, Sephonis, Sambheka, and Caroline at a boosted drop rate.
  • Born From Ashes: This is a Memory Trace banner, available till November 28, 2024. It features an SSR Memory Trace: Born From Ashes and two SR Memory Traces: Wish In The Rain and Where The Star Fell.

The Standard Memory Trace Ash Echoes banner offers all usable Traces. The exception is the featured SSR Trace in the Targeted banner, available in the game’s ongoing version.

After unlocking the gacha system, you can summon on the special Standard Memory Traces banner. Upon getting an SSR Memory Trace from it, you will unlock a normal Standard banner.

The normal Standard banner has five sections: VIT, DEF, ATK, MST, TRM, and Memory Echo. You can exclusively summon DEF-type Memory Traces from the DEF section, and so on.

However, there is one exception in the VIT-type section. There is a 100% chance that the obtained SSR Memory Trace has the VIT stat and a 50% chance that the SR Memory Trace has it.

The Standard Memory Trace Ash Echoes banner also offers a unique mechanism that allows selecting an SSR Memory Trace from each section to boost their drop rate. If you don’t get the selected Trace while obtaining an SSR Trace with the pity system, you are guaranteed to receive it the next time.

Ash Echoes Echomancers' probability explanation (Image via Neocraft)
Ash Echoes Echomancers' probability explanation (Image via Neocraft)

The probability of obtaining a 6-star Echomancer from any Ash Echoes banner is 1.2%. There is a 7.0% chance of getting a 5-star Echomancer, and a 91.8% chance of getting a 4-star one. Every 10 pulls guarantees a 6-star or 5-star character and SSR or SR Memory Traces.

Neocraft has implemented the hard pity system, allowing you to obtain a 6-star character after 60 pulls, with a 50% probability of obtaining the featured one. After 60 pulls, the system’s soft pity system kicks in, increasing the probability of getting a 6-star by 6% for every consecutive pull.

If you don’t get the featured character while obtaining a 6-star with the pity system, you are guaranteed to obtain it the next time.

When it comes to Memory Traces, the probability of obtaining an SSR Memory Trace from any banner is 2.0%. There is a 7.0% chance of you getting an SR Memory Trace and a 91.0% chance of obtaining an R one.

In the Targeted banners, the hard pity system allows you to get an SSR Memory Tracer after 40 pulls. There is a 50% probability that the obtained SSR trace will be the Trace that is featured.

After 40 pulls, the banner’s soft pity increases the probability of SSR Traces by 11% for every consecutive pull. If you don’t obtain the featured SSR Trace while obtaining an SSR Memory Trace, you are guaranteed to obtain it the next time.

The pity on the Targeted and Standard Echomancer banners will carry over to the next banner. On the other hand, Standard Memory Trace has the same pity system as Targeted.

Additionally, the pity is shared between all five sections in the Standard Memory Trace banner. For instance, if you’ve hit the hard pity of 40 pulls in the DEF section, you will hit the pity in other sections.
