Brawl Stars update (October 31, 2024): Bug fixes and rewards explained
The new Brawl Stars update on October 31, 2024, introduced several changes and added a new Bralwer called Juju. The developers also claimed to fix many bugs introduced in the last few updates. One of the biggest changes came with Mandy's nerf. However, their X post also stated that some bugs are yet to be fixed as the developers are actively working on removing them by the time the next update drops.

All the changes introduced in the new Brawl Stars update (October 31, 2024)
1) Byron dealing damage over time to enemies with the protective shield - Not fixed
There was a major bug with Byron where his attacks continued to do damage over time to enemies that respawn with a protective shield from their equipped gear. This bug became more evident if the Byron build had his Malaise star power equipped. However, the developers failed to address this issue so far, as they seem to be working on solving it.
2) Byron healing other Brawler's pets and turrets - Fixed
Byron also has another bug where his attacks seem to heal your teammates' pets and turrets. This allowed players to use Byron to heal Nita's bear, Penny's turret, and Mr. P's robo-porter. This issue seems to have been fixed with this Brawl Stars update.
3) Pearl's "Made with Love" gadget healing other Brawler's pets and turrets - Fixed
Pearl's "Made with Love" gadget also had the same issue as the bug above. Since this gadget makes Pearl's next attack heal allies, players could also heal teammates' pets and turrets like Nita's bear and Jessy's turret. It seems that the developers have fixed this bug.
4) Gadgets and Star Powers charging super - Fixed
This Brawl Stars maintenance update fixed a bug where players would charge their supers when they used their gadgets and had their star powers equipped. However, this didn't happen if the player didn't unlock the Brawler's star power and used their gadget's ability. The new Brawl Stars update seems to have fixed this issue.
5) Inaccurate win streak and ranked match results - Fixed
Players were having difficulty checking their current win streaks and ranked match results. Many faced an issue where their win streak would automatically reset even if they didn't lose a match. Moreover, their ranked match results would show inaccuracies, displaying wrong data. The developers declared that they fixed this issue with this new Brawl Stars update.
6) Global Leaderboard showing inaccurate data - Fixed
Due to the inaccuracies with the win streak and ranked match results data, many errors showed up on the global leaderboards as well — it seems that it was not getting updated in real-time. However, the developers have apparently fixed this in the latest Brawl Stars update.
7) Mandy's projectile speed nerfed by 10% - Nerf
One of the most significant changes that came with this new Brawl Stars update was the nerfs that Mandy received. This update slowed down Mandy's bullet projectile speed by 10%. This means that her attack speed remains the same, but the speed at which her bullets move has been lowered. The same can be said for her "In my Sights" star power, which lets her shoot candies with 16% more speed. This new update makes her shoot candies with 15% more speed now.
Mandy's offensive prowess seems to have been significantly reduced since her firing speed and damage have been nerfed.
8) 10 free Dead Boxes for everyone
Due to the maintenance break for this new Brawl Stars update, all players will now receive 10 free Dead Boxes. These loot boxes will contain various new Halloween-themed skins, sprays, emoticons for many Brawlers, and lots of gold.
