Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha explained

The Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha system offers various types of banners. Players can obtain characters and weapons by pulling on them with Permissions (gacha tickets) or Collapse Piece (in-game currency). They can get characters in two rarities: SR (Super Rare) and SSR (Super Super Rare). On the other hand, they can get weapons in three rarities: R (Rare), SR (Super Rare), and SSR (Super Super Rare).

That said, this guide explains the gacha system of Girls’ Frontline 2 Exilium and lists all types of banners and their pity system.

Girls' Frontline 2 gacha system: Banners details and pity system

Here are the details on each type of banner and their pity system in the Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha system:

Beginner banner

The beginner banner remains available for a limited time in the Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha system. Players can perform 50 pulls to obtain an SSR character from this banner, after which it will disappear. One can also get multiple SSR characters with their pulls.

Players can only perform a multi-pull (10 pulls) on the banner and cannot do single pulls. They can use Standard Permissions to pull on the beginner banner. The banner offers a 20% discount on every multi-pull, meaning one must spend only eight Standard Permissions for 10 pulls.

Below is the list of SSR characters the beginner banner offers:

  • Mosin-Nagant
  • Tololo
  • Sabrina
  • Qiongjiu
  • Peritya

The Standard banner remains available permanently in the Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha system. Pulling on it requires Standard Permissions or Collapse Piece (one pull costs 150 Collapse Piece). Players can obtain both characters and weapons from the Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha's Standard banner.

The banner drops an SSR item at a 0.6% drop rate, divided equally between weapons (0.3%) and characters (0.3%). The overall drop rate for weapons and characters stands at 1.89%.

The banner drops an SR item at 6%, divided equally between weapons (3%) and characters (3%). The overall drop rate for weapons and T-dolls stands at 13%. The banner’s pity kicks in at 58th pulls, increasing the drop rate of an SSR item.

Players are guaranteed to obtain an SR weapon or SR character within 10 pulls and SSR within 80 (soft pity). There is a 50-50 chance that the obtained SSR item will either be a weapon or a character.

Targeted character banner

Each version update will feature a Targeted character banner that becomes available for a limited time in Girls' Frontline gacha system. It features a newly released character at a boosted drop rate and doesn't offer any SSR weapon in its pool. Pulling on this banner requires Premium Permissions or Collapse Piece.

The drop rate of an SSR character in the Targeted character banner is at 0.6%, and an SR character or weapon is at 6%. Players can get an SR character or weapon within 10 pulls. The banner's pity starts after the 58th pull, increasing the drop rate of SSR characters. Its soft pity guarantees an SSR character within 80 pulls.

There is a 50% chance that the obtained SSR is the featured character. If players don’t get the featured character within the first 80 pulls, they will certainly get it within the next 80 pulls due to the hard pity.

The title offers two Targeted character banners, one featuring Suomi and the other, Ullrid on the global launch. Both banners will be available from December 3 to December 25 in the Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha. Note that the characters won’t be added to the standard banner after their period ends. Players must wait for the banner’s rerun for an opportunity to obtain the character.

Targeted weapon banner

Like the character, Targeted weapon banners also become available for a limited time in Girls' Frontline 2 Exilium gacha system. It features an SSR weapon at a boosted drop rate for a limited time. Pulling on this banner requires Premium Permissions or Collapse Piece. Players can obtain an SSR weapon at a 0.7% drop rate and an SR character or a weapon at 7%.

The banner guarantees an SR character or weapon within 10 pulls. Its soft pity starts after the 50th pull, increasing the drop rate of SSR weapons. The banner’s soft pity grants an SSR weapon within 70 pulls. There is a 75% chance that the obtained SSR is the featured weapon.

If players don’t get the featured SSR weapon within 70 pulls, they will certainly get it within the next 70 pulls due to the banner’s hard pity. Like Targeted character banners, the featured weapon won’t be added to the standard banner after the banner ends.
