Niantic has just announced the Monster Hunter Now Rare-Tinted Royalty event, which will run for a week from November 18, 2024. This event is set to feature an increased activity of the Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos monsters during this period. Additionally, lucky players will also get to encounter Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos as rare monsters.

Schedule

Monster Hunter Now Rare-Tinted Royalty will run from 9 am on November 18, 2024, until 11:59 pm on November 24, 2024, local time.

Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos will be more common for the event. Notably, Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos monsters will also be more active, but they will appear more frequently from 9 am on November 23, 2024, to 11:59 pm on November 24, 2024.

Additionally, limited-time quests and Hunt-a-thon appearances will be active from November 18, 2024, at 9 am to November 24, 2024.

Details

The event will be available for hunters who have completed the prologue phase of Monster Hunter Now. Additionally, Event Quests will be available in the Special Quests tab while the event is in progress.

Completing limited-time quests during Monster Hunter Now Rare-Tinted Royalty will reward you with standard monster drops like Earth Crystals. Additionally, Gold Rathian Primewebbing and Silver Rathalos Primetalon will also be rewarded for certain quests.

Monsters' habitats

Players can hunt specific monsters in their respective habitats. Here are more details:

Hunters can find the Pink Rathian in Swamp habitats and the Azure Rathalos in forest habitats.
Gold Rathian will appear in desert habitats and swamp habitats. Furthermore, Silver Rathalos will appear in forest habitats. The frequency of these monsters will be less than Pink Rathian and Azure Rathalos.
Gold Rathian and Silver Rathalos will also appear at the Hunt-a-thon points.

Weaknesses of monsters

Here are the weaknesses of monsters featured in the Monster Hunter Now Rare-Tinted Royalty event:

Pink Rathian: This monster is weak to Dragon, Thunder, and Water elements.
Azure Rathalos: This monster is weak to Dragon, Ice, and Water elements.
Gold Rathian: This monster is weak to Thunder and Water elements.
Silver Rathalos: This monster is weak to Water and Thunder elements.

Seeing as all of these monsters are weak to the water element, players can upgrade their water element weapons from the ongoing Water Element Quests event.
