Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, and more join "Friendship Pays" global campaign for Scopely's Monopoly Go

Monopoly Go has partnered up with Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Jason Mamoa, and Keke Palmer in preparation for its first-ever global brand campaign "Friendship Pays". The campaign seeks to breathe life into the universe of Monopoly Go with the help of a lineup of real-life stars.

Thanks to the event, we also see Monopoly Go's Mr. Monopoly being voiced for the very first time in history.

Everything you need to know about the first Monopoly Go global campaign "Friendship Pays"

In the first installment of "Friendship Pays", we see Chris Pratt, Will Ferrell, Jason Mamoa, and Keke Palmer get pulled into the world of GoVille, as they participate in various Monopoly Go activities. More videos and installments are yet to come.

Monopoly Go features several mini-games and events to keep things interesting and competitive. Keke Palmer, appreciating the friendly competitive nature of the game, said:

“I love playing games with my siblings and friends, and let me tell you honey, when I play games, I play to win. I’m so happy to team up with MONOPOLY GO!, a game that is all about camaraderie and excitement and, of course, your daily dose of friendly competition.”

Monopoly Go allows players to team up and go against their friends. Jason Momoa, explaining how the game can bring friends together, had this to say about his collaboration with the title:

“My approach to playing MONOPOLY GO! is similar to how I play the bass...creating harmony to bring everyone together for a good time. I’m so stoked to be collaborating with MONOPOLY GO! because playing with friends is my favorite pastime, and who better to team up with than Keke, Chris, and Mr. Monopoly himself.”

Monopoly Go can be a passive part of life, which we can engage in our leisure. Our actions in the game often affect our friends who are teamed up with us, which creates a sense of connection. Chris Pratt said the following about Monopoly Go and his collaboration with other star guests:

“MONOPOLY GO! is all about playing with friends, which we don’t get to do enough of in our busy lives. It’s been fun to team up with a game that is so social, and provides opportunities to go on zany adventures with friends -- while knocking down their properties and charging them rent. And I’ve learned that Keke and Jason are fierce competitors! The moment they had an opportunity to take all my Monopoly money, they did!”

We also got to see Mr. Monopoly, the mascot of the series, being voiced for the first time in Monopoly Go, that too, by famous actor and comedian Will Farrell. Jamie Berger, the SVP of Marketing for Monopoly Go, had this to say about Will Farrell and the "Friendship Pays" campaign:

“‘Friendship Pays’ is a tribute to the MONOPOLY GO! experience, which was expertly crafted by our talented game team at Scopely to connect a global community of ‘Tycoons’. Our new creative spots and incredibly talented cast capture the emotional rollercoaster of playing the game, where friends turn into rivals and then friends again, with just a roll of the dice. And, who better to anchor the fun than the world’s most beloved and eccentric mogul, voiced by the one and only Will Ferrell?”
