The latest update introduces many new contents, like a new SSR Hunter, a Sung Jinwoo weapon, and a roguelike game mode. New SSR Hunter in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update
A new SSR Hunter, Thomas Andre, debuted in the latest Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. Players can summon him on his dedicated Rate Up banner, Overwhelming Power Thomas Andre. The banner will be available till December 19, 2024, at 00:00 UTC+0.
Thomas Andre belongs to the Fighter class and possesses the Light attribute. His Exclusive Weapon is called The True King, which players can obtain by playing events and crafting.
Sung Jinwoo weapon in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update
Netmarble has added a new Sung Jinwoo weapon, Divine Quarterstaff, in the latest Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. It is an SSR weapon that deals Light elemental damage to enemies. Players can obtain it from the Weapon Custom and Custom Draw.

Netmarble has introduced a new game mode, Simulation Gate, in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. Players can play the beta season of this roguelike game mode in this update. It can be accessed from the Lobby screen or quick menu. Simulation Gate unlocks after completing Normal Chapter 20.
Players can choose various paths and buffs to clear stages in Simulation Gate game mode. They must send an entry code to enter the Simulation Gate; two entry codes recharge every week. However, players can enter the test mode if one doesn’t have an entry code. The test mode grants fewer Memory Chips as rewards without additional in-game items.
Players can choose to engage in stages that extend up to 15 levels. Higher levels grant a higher amount of rewards. Simulation Gate runs in seasons, and a special rule — Algorithm of the Week — is applied to each. The Algorithm of the Week buffs the monsters within the Gate.
Effect Amplification is another mechanic the game mode offers. It buffs the hunters, which players use to progress in the Simulation Gate. The game mode rewards various in-game items, such as Enhancement Materials, Dimensional Recording Devices, Memory Chips, Simulation Coins, and more.
Players can also clear weekly missions to obtain various rewards in the Simulation Gate game mode.

Players can clear daily missions for 14 days to obtain various in-game items as rewards. They will get an Artifact Modification Ticket, Gold, growth-related items for completing each mission, and an SSR Sung Jinwoo Weapon Random Chest as Achievement Reward.
- Winter! Special Dice: This event will be available till December 12, 2024. It is similar to the Special Dice events introduced in the previous updates. Players can get (Rare) Blessing Stone Vol. 3, Skill Scroll, Powder of Blessings, and more as rewards.

Story mode
Netmarble has added two new Reverse Story Chapters for the Hidden Chapters 3 and 4 introduced in the Solo Leveling Arise October 31, 2024 update. Additionally, the developer has reduced the difficulty of certain stages in the Story’s Hard and Reverse modes.
Netmarble has also adjusted the Battle Mission conditions, such as equipping certain hunters, using certain shadows, and more. The developer has also increased the number of Custom Draw Tickets obtained as rewards by clearing each Chapter from 2 to 5.
Players will get additional quantities of the cleared chapters before the adjustment in their mailbox. Netmarble has also introduced a new reward system in the story mode. Players can now get additional rewards based on the number of Battle Missions conditions completed in the Normal, Hard, and Reverse mode.
New Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions bosses
Netmarble has added one new boss each to the Instance Dungeon and Encore Missions game mode in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. Players can battle the new boss, Twin-headed Ogre in the former, and Watcher of Brilliant Light Luxis in the latter. These monsters will also appear in the Special Commissions.

Power of Destruction
Netmable has made multiple improvements to the Power of Destruction in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. The developer has changed the cycle of the game mode from daily to weekly and adjusted the rewards accordingly. Players will get all rewards at once during the weekly calculation period, that is, every Thursday at 00:00 UTC+0.
The team records will reset before the weekly calculation, allowing players to reorganize and reset.
Gate
Netmarble has adjusted the gameplay adjustment and reward buff for the Gates game mode in the Solo Leveling Arise November 28 update. The developers have reduced the Gate Keys recharge limit from 15 to 10. Players will get 1.5 more rewards than before from clearing gates and mining.

- Increased the maximum hunter upgrade tier from 12 to 15
- The stage in the Training difficulty will be cleared after players reach 5,000,000 points, which is the condition to unlock the Normal difficulty.

System improvements and optimizations

System Improvements:
- The initial unlock condition for Workshop of Brilliant Light content will change to “Clear Story Normal Chapter 18 [To the Demons' Castle Again].” Hunters who have already unlocked the Workshop of Brilliant Light can access the content without any additional conditions.
- Decreased the entry-level limit for certain stages in the Story Normal Chapter 18.
- Added “Crafting” item in the Solidified Stone II / III items’ source.
- The “Shard of Baran” item will be adjusted to no longer be purchasable.
- The stages where Checkmate Kysa and Fores appear as bosses will have the description "Immune to Shield Removal Effects" added.
- Adjusted container Battle Missions in the Battlefield of Trials Hunter Mode Floor 53. (Clear within 60 seconds → Clear within 90 seconds)
- A recommended formation button will be added for certain stages, allowing hunters to set up recommended hunters based on usage rates for each content before entering.
- A “Battle Options” feature will be added to the stage result screen.
- In content where Multiplay is available, you can adjust the Multiplay when proceeding to the next stage or retrying from the stage result screen.
- On the stage result screen, you can choose whether to start from the team formation screen when processing to the next stage or retrying.
- In the PC version client, when the game is inactive due to another window beating open, gamepad controls and vibrations will no longer apply.
- A Remnant Power Skill auto-use setting will be added to the [Options] > [Controls].
- Hunters will be able to view point bonuses and other details in the Secret Library tab even without completing all Hunter Archive missions. Secret Library stages will be remotely accessible only after completing all Hunter Archive missions, as before.
- An icon will be added on the Draw screen, allowing hunters to move directly to the Hunter Archive of the rate-up draw hunter.

- Fixed the issue where the set Remnant Power is not being prevented on the Hunter Archive team formation screen.
- Fixed the issue where the recently acquired Blessing Stone seats were to be used as material when continuously attempting Fusion after acquiring a new Blessing Stone in Fusion.
- Fixed the issue where the Proof of the Strong is applied differently in the Encore Missions in certain circumstances.
- Fixed the issue where, when using Sung Jinwoo's weapon “Spooky Pumpkin,” the advancement tier 5 effect (activate Core Attack) is not active normally while using [Peek-a-boom] skill with another.
- Fixed the issue where, when using Rune Skills that activate QTE skills, the activated QTE skills can be used continuously.
