Danica Patrick hopeful of “safe public school for kids” post-Donald Trump’s victory in election
Danica Patrick is one happy woman after Donald Trump emerged victorious in the US presidential election against Kamala Harris. Patrick had been actively voicing her support for Trump during the entire election campaign, and she did not stop even after his massive victory. Citing this, the former NASCAR driver shared a post on social media, hoping for a safe public school system for kids.
Patrick campaigned for Trump during his campaign, and also attended rallies and delivered speeches. She regularly shared updates about her social media campaigns and how proud she was to root for the Make America Great Again (MAGA) campaign.
Patrick's post on safe public school for kids can be regarded as one of them, as she confidently reposted a video on X (formerly Twitter), hoping for progress in the American school system under Donald Trump.
"Maybe public schools will be safe again soon for kids," Danica Patrick wrote.
Notably, Patrick was heavily involved in this year's election campaign. She previously revealed that she had never voted prior to this election and did not show much interest in politics. However, she made an exception this time.
Patrick rose to fame after her Indy Japan 300 victory in 2008. Her breakthrough in NASCAR came after her first pole in the Cup Series in the 2013 Daytona 500. As of November 2024, she stands as the only woman to win both an IndyCar race and claim a Cup Series pole.
Her Cup Series statistics boast 191 races in seven years, where she claimed a pole position and seven top-10s. Patrick retired from the NASCAR Cup Series at the end of 2018, and is currently associated with Sky Sports F1 as their Formula 1 expert.
The 42-year-old voted for Trump, and proudly shared it on social media, by stating her reason for the choice. Patrick also took an active role in defending Trump against accusations related to women's safety in the United States.

"We’re not living in a time of Republican-Democrat, we’re living in good versus evil, we're living in right versus wrong," she wrote.
Trump will take oath as the 47th President of the United States on January 20, 2025.
