Denny Hamlin's fiancé drops heartfelt reaction to Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio's wedding countdown
Denny Hamlin's partner, Jordan Fish, recently complimented Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio's picture on social media.
Team Penske driver Blaney got engaged soon after winning his maiden Cup Series Championship title in 2023 and is set to tie the knot with his fiancee, Tulio, in the coming month.
In a joint Instagram post, Tulio and Blaney shared an elegant picture together along with a countdown to their wedding. The #12 Ford driver Blaney wore a sleek tuxedo while Tulio donned a white free-flowing gown.
Denny Hamlin's fiancee, Fish, initially misunderstood the post, writing:
"Omg my heart just sank for a minute! I thought yall went and tied the knot already!! But eeeek so exciting!"
Here's the complete post of the Blaney couple:
"One month until we say “I do”🥂🕊️, they captioned.
While the 30-year-old Blaney was focused on his championship run, Tulio was busy planning their upcoming wedding. She was spotted at a ski resort in Aspen, Colorado, and has been sharing updates on her Instagram, including wedding tastings and planning sessions.
"I give her the reins on everything" - Ryan Blaney opens up on wedding planning with Gianna Tulio
2023 Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney and Gianna Tulio are reportedly set to marry on December 12, 2024. Apparently, Tulio hinted at the date via a post on Instagram, back in April.
During a recent conversation with Fox Sports' Bob Pockrass, Blaney shared his strategy with regard to the wedding. He said:
"That was the day after [we got engaged] we were wedding planning. And we picked a venue out. We locked that in. So that was a big part of it. And I'm learning how much work goes into wedding planning. It's a lot. Picking the venue out was good. That took a lot of weight off our shoulders of Gianna and I's"
"I try to just give her the reins on everything — just do it, like, you've got full control of this. But she wants to include me in a lot of it, which is fine. But I usually just agree with her. She's like, 'What do you think about this?" And then I'll just ask her 'Well, what do you think?" And then I'll just agree with whatever she says," Blaney added.
While Blaney narrowly missed out on a second consecutive Cup Series championship, his teammate Joey Logano clinched the title, securing Team Penske's fifth championship.
It's worth noting that Roger Penske's team became the third Cup Series team to finish the season with its drivers in the top two positions of the driver's points standings.
