Taylor Swift and Indianapolis Motor Speedway collaboration surpassed the Indy500 race engagement
Taylor Swift in Indianapolis has taken the spotlight in and around Indiana and has created more engagement than the announcement of the Indy 500 being delayed in May.
Swift's Eras Tour and Indianapolis Motor Speedway have collaborated with Bell Helmets and the Women in Motorsports North America Group to represent 11 eras of the music sensation's career. Moreover, this collab has been marketed around empowering women in racing.
According to Adam Stern of Sports Business Journal, the Eras Tour promotion announcement has generated about 1000 followers and 1.5 million impressions on social media.
"IMS Taylor Swift promotion announcement post last week generated more engagement than almost all of the racetrack’s social media messages this year, even topping its announcement in May that the Indy 500 was being delayed by poor weather," wrote Stern on X.
The 11 helmets will have information about female racers that is displayed, and it will be auctioned to promote women in racing. Additionally, IMS has showcased a Swift-themed car at the Indiana Convention Center this weekend.
