Gianna Tulio's close friend shares sneak peek of her bridal shower preparation
Defending NASCAR Cup Series champion Ryan Blaney and fiancee Gianna Tulio are planning a wedding in Aspen after the end of this season. The couple, who have been together for years, got engaged during a trip to a mountain resort last December.
Tulio frequently shares wedding updates on her social media. She recently shared a friend's story which showed a glimpse of some of the preparations for her bridal shower. The video by Felicia Patrick Lamb featured crystal glasses with named ribbons tied at the bottom for Tulio and the guests.
"Gianna Tulio bridal shower prep," wrote Patrick.
Tulio, who is popular for her modeling work with Hooters, also recently shared a video of the gift-giving party on Instagram.
"The most beautiful bridal shower," she wote.
Gianna Tulio grew up in Philadelphia but later moved to Florida for her last year of high school. She went to Palm Beach State College for a business degree. Tulio won Miss Hooters in 2021 and is currently the brand representative for Hooters of America, the popular restaurant chain.
"Last thing I want is for her to be stressed like the day of the wedding" - Ryan Blaney on wedding with Gianna Tulio
Earlier this year, Ryan Blaney said in an interview with The Athletic that the number one thing on his bucket list was to get married. The Team Penske driver also talked about the wedding plans and how he did not want Gianna Tulio to feel stressed.
"Some people told me don’t get a wedding planner. But we’re not doing it in-state, so we need somebody, and the last thing I want is for her to be stressed like the day of the wedding or leading up," Blaney said.
He further shared the two things he wanted at their wedding.
I only had two things I wanted at our wedding: A cowboy hatmaker, so we can have custom cowboy hats for everybody who wants them. And then I wanted a cigar-roller. So there will be a person live cigar-rolling," he added.
Last weekend at Las Vegas, Blaney had a tough race when a crash on lap 88 pushed him into the wall. The No. 12 Mustang driver got stuck in the accident and finished 32nd. The next race in the Round of 8 this Sunday is at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
Blaney is currently 7th in the Cup Series playoff standings above Chase Elliott, 47 points below the cutline. He needs a strong finish in Homestead to stay in the playoffs.
