“Home is wherever I am with you” – Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha shares heartfelt reflection as 2024 NASCAR season ends
As the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season concluded at Phoenix Raceway this past weekend, NASCAR veteran Kyle Busch’s wife Samantha Busch shared a heartfelt message on social media reflecting her journey on the race track throughout the season. Busch finished the season finale race in 21st place.
Kyle and Samatha met in 2007 during NASCAR’s event in Indianapolis. They tied the knot on New Year's Eve, 2010 in Chicago, Illinois, and have built a strong, supportive bond over the years. She has been there for Busch during his tough time. Together, they’ve faced the highs and lows of NASCAR life, whether it’s Kyle’s championship victories, injuries, or the demands of a busy racing schedule.
Samantha Busch, who has a big following on Instagram on Monday, reflected on the unique lifestyle they share as a racing family, constantly traveling throughout the year to support her husband and son Brexton's racing pursuits.
Sharing her sentiment alongside photos from the 2024 NASCAR season, Kyle Busch’s wife wrote:
“People always ask how we handle being on the road most of the year between Kyle and Brexton’s races. The truth is, every track, every town, and every season brings its own magic and memories. From long days at Milbridge to moments that remind us why we love this life, it’s all about being together. The 2024 season in photos — because home is wherever I am with you all.”
“Full of trials and heartbreaks”: Kyle Busch reflects on his 2024 season
Kyle Busch, the driver of the #8 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing, had the toughest year of his NASCAR Cup Series career as he couldn't win a single race in the 36-race schedule and didn't contend in the postseason. Busch’s winless 2024 season ends his 19-season win streak.
Heartbroken two-time NASCAR champion penned a message on Instagram, ensuring his gratitude and hoping for a stronger comeback in 2025.
Busch wrote:
“Arguably the toughest year of my career. Full of trials, n heartbreaks. I know my RCR guys r gonna get after it this winter n we’ll come back stronger nxt season. Grateful for all of our partners, helping us do what we love. Thx Rowdy Nation for sticking w me. Y’all r the best,”
In his mediocre season, Kyle Busch scored five top-5s, 10 top-10s, and led only 229 laps with an average finish of 18.3 in 36 races. He finished the season in 20th position in the championship standings, the worst of his career.
The 39-year-old Las Vegas-Nevada native will look for a stronger comeback next season. Until then, he'll look to spend quality time with his family in the offseason.
