"I'm so sad" - Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife Madyson vents over Christmas tree mishap, looks to him for comfort after NASCAR finale
Ricky Stenhouse Jr.'s wife, Madyson Joye Stenhouse, recently shared an Instagram story in which she comically expressed her sadness. In the story, she vented over a Christmas tree mishap that she could not put together properly and asked her husband for help after the Phoenix race.
NASCAR is all set for its final race across all series at Phoenix Raceway this weekend. As the race will wrap up the 2024 season for good, drivers, crew members, officials, and everyone linked with the sport will head back home to celebrate Christmas with their families.
One can expect Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and his wife Joye Stenhouse to do the same, as the latter is already getting ready with the Christmas preparation at home. She uploaded a couple of stories from her official Instagram account.
Joye took it to her Instagram and uploaded a picture of a Christmas tree, which she found difficult to decorate and put in place. Citing this, she wrote:
"I'm so sad."
However, she did not abandon the hope, as the next thing she wrote was about Stenhouse Jr.,
"@stenhousejr gets to help me first thing Monday morning."
While Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will be busy this weekend at Phoenix, he already has work lined up on Monday.
For the unversed, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and Madyson married in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2022. While the former is a renowned Cup Series driver, the latter is the communications manager for the Drivers' Advisory Council.
Prior to this, Madyson worked at Marty Snider & associates for a year after leading RCR. She worked at Richard Childress Racing as a manager of licensing and partnerships from 2018 to 2021.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. took a dig at Ty Gibbs and Austin Dillon at Martinsville
The race at Martinsville saw Ty Gibbs and Austin Dillon fight their way out. Their on-track skirmishes saw none of them leaving a space for each other. While they were at it, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. was observing it all from behind.
Interestingly, he did not just enjoy their tussle but took a slight dig at them. The JTG Daugherty Racing driver quipped:
"The golden spoons were going at it hard there."
It is believed that Stenhouse Jr.'s dig at Gibbs and Austin has come because of their strong racing background. Ty Gibbs is the grandson of legendary NASCAR personality Joe Gibbs, the owner of Joe Gibbs Racing.
Notably, Ty Gibbs is also the co-owner of JGR. On the other hand, Austin Dillon is the grandson of Richard Childress, the owner of Richard Childress Racing, another famous name in the NASCAR fraternity.
While Ty Gibbs and Austin Dillon might have come from strong racing backgrounds, they have proven themselves to be in the top tier of stock car racing. The former has been the 2022 Xfinity Series champion, while the latter won the 2011 Camping Truck Series.
